Yes, that’s a rare thing to be able to say. Denham encountered this woman’s blog today (read it Stroppy, you’ll love it), and it struck him as a drop of the good stuff. I totally agree with him, so welcome therefore Medusa to the Shiraz blogroll. Quality politics, quality music. What more do you want? Stop reading this post and go read her!

Actually, I first came across mnemosyne, when she posted a brilliant aricle and You tube piece about the jazz drummer Max Roach, who hasd just died. Mnemosyne had found a much better You tube film of Roach than the one I used on here; she also wrote most movingly about Roach’s commitment to civil rights. I wanted, then, to link to her: sorry that I didn’t follow it up, but at least we have now done so.
