‘Thank a union guy’

March 13, 2011 at 3:31 pm (literature, Max Dunbar, protest, unions, workers)

Probably my favourite writer, on Wisconsin, the Tea Party and the class struggle in America.

Why is it that the wealthy, reclusive, frequently delusional elitists who can afford to look themselves in the eye and say that making someone pay more that 1/8 of their health insurance premium is “an assault on humanity” and go into a tirade about babies being thrown out into the snow?

Take a look at whet he’s defending. Unions’ purpose is to acquire, at the cost of other working people, exclusive access to more resources, and to deny others access to them.

What’s worse is that government employees’ unions are thrown things in an effort not to “preserve rights” but buy votes – at the expense of the people – all of the people… the real “lumpenproletariat” if that’s all you’re able to visualize.
