Mine was a purely a joke. I do not know enough about the guy to give a true picture. So sorry for any offence caused. Actually even though he seems to be getting on in years he looks quite healthy. Though what with photoshop…………….

Do we have any evidence that this is a recent “photograph”(The shadows seem a little odd, has it been done by the same crew that faked the moon landings)?
He appears to be holding out a cup. Is that to ask for more beer or some spare change?
A little suspicious that there is a sign saying “BAR” but no bar in sight. Has he drunk it all already?

What’s this “rare” photograph? Is it “rare” in the Scots sense of being fine, grand etc? And does that refer to the subject or the photographer’s skill? Or is it rare in the sense of being infrequent and is that because the subject’s eyes are focussed and he has shaved quite recently?
