On the side of humanity in Iran
‘Order reigns in Tehran!’ You stupid henchmen! Your ‘order’ is built on sand. Tomorrow the revolution will already ‘raise itself with a rattle’ and announce with fanfare, to your terror: I was, I am, I shall be!” (OK so in the original Rosa Luxemburg quote it’s Berlin rather than Tehran, but the sentiments still apply).
That comes from “History Is Made At Night“, link below; it’s just so good:

There is hope: even the disgusting Galloway-ite site, which carries the comments of the hideous anti-semite John Wight – Socilalist Unity – had this comment:
******************************************************************************
I think it’s significant that JohnW’s unthinking “my-enemy’s-enemy-is-my-friend” mindset enjoys far, far less support on the left than it did just a few years ago.
Previously, the SWP and elements of the CP were also echoing this crap to a certain extent, but both have taken a solid and principled class position over this current situation and that’s a hugely positive development.
The sheer isolation of JohnW and Noah illustrates this.
Let’s hope we can all unite around John Haylett’s call at the end of his article to work to build serious practical solidarity and support from our own working-class movement for our courageous comrades in Iran.

I’ve never met John Wight. Don’t much care what he thinks, either. Certainly not enough to bother mentioning him, well, ever, really.
