Kaschke on the political system

December 7, 2008 at 7:39 pm (bloggocks, voltairespriest)

I just wanted to share with you all some of the thoughts of Johanna Kaschke on the future of the UK political system. Yes, that’s the same Johanna Kaschke who’s taken our mate Dave Osler to court for libel on a different matter. I leave you to make your own decisions:

The Monarch and the House of Lords should oversee long-term strategies and our democratically elected government should deal with current administrative matters rather than make policy decisions, which don’t last longer than 5/6 years but the impact of it can affect us for decades to come.

Have a nice Sunday evening, everybody.

Just because you are politically deranged doesn’t mean you can’t be libelled.

That, itself, may be a libel – one worth about tuppence.

The above is a direct quote from (so to speak) the horse’s mouth, sir. How dare you so impugn my intentions…

With the decline of the ‘Times’ I have always looked to this blog to be the ‘thingy of record’.

No impugning was intended. (Even though I’ve wanted, so many times, to impugn somebody, anybody, really.)

Is this about some mad bint, or am I legally mistaken?

I like boldly going, as well.

    I like this too:

Johanna Kaschke on debt, “reckless times”, women’s emancipation and Thatcher:

Then I read that women are on average 3 times more in debt then men. Is it any wonder? Lets examine the facts

    1. Women earn less
    2. A hairstylist for a woman is more expensive then a man.
    3. Women are expected to wear more designed clothes then men.

It isn’t any more difficult than that. What do we want? Cheaper designer clothes, cheaper hairdressing! When do we want it? Wednesday at 9.45 for a trim!

And here’s Kaschke on the subject of niqab-wearing Muslim women:

“I think veils look horrible and many muslim women wear them because muslim men think they can rape women who do not wear the veil. As such it is a sign of oppression. I am not into religious cults in any case and would want to see these veils gone from the streets.”

    What a fruitcake.

Oh, hang on, Shiraz Socialist would probably agree with her there, wouldn’t you?

Anon conveniently left off the link and the full context:

    “Veil of oppression

I have only just joined Respect, but I cannot understand why one would want to defend veil wearing for ‘democratic’ reasons, as if the Respect party is afraid to lose muslim members if they go against wearing the veil.

I think veils look horrible and many muslim women wear them because muslim men think they can rape women who do not wear the veil. As such it is a sign of oppression. I am not into religious cults in any case and would want to see these veils gone from the streets. Whichever way you look at it, even from a communist or Respect perspective, I would want to see to whom I am speaking.

I think those who defend the veil on democratic grounds should diligently research the religious and sexual oppression faced by muslim women before they even open their mouths. To confuse the veil issue with defending democracy is naive, to say the least.

Looking at Ms Kaschke’s remarkable political itinerary, why not open a book to predict where she might be by this time next year?

Given her previous political history, where else is there for her to go?

    4-1 Labour again
    6-1 Respect again
    9-1 CPGB (M-L)
    12-1 AWL
    15-1 Conservatives
    2-5 sewing mailbags again

Also, the Greens are 3-1, 5-1 for the SWP, as they are none too choosy about members, and the Lib Dem are a probable choice as well

    Johanna Kaschke?

Yeah, you meet people like that every now and then.

Hang around the High Court often then, Lobby?
