One person who should be “hunted down” is Dave Gardner: ex- Birmingham SWP-member who several years ago started turning up with the NF/BNP on demos. He turned up with the BNP at Monday’s protest outside the GTC hearing in Brum. Amazingly, he then came over for a friendly chat with some UAF members, who later said they felt “sorry” for him!

Never said any different, digger: though after a while with the NF he apparently “returned” to the Left and seemed to be accepted back by most of them (not me or the AWL) with open arms.
Btw: I’ve never tried to make political capital against the SWP over this: there’s enough to attack them over without blaming them for an ex-member joining the fash. Though Mod is right that their abysmal lack of internal education and their apolitical recruitment methods mean that they are more vulnerable to these sort of defections than most left wing organisations.
